Genesis Eve House: A Safe Haven for Women to Reclaim Their Lives

Genesis Eve House is a transitional housing initiative created to empower women who are on a journey to regain their independence, stability, and self-worth. As an independently owned, alcohol- and drug-free environment, we provide a sanctuary where women can heal, rebuild, and reclaim their lives without fear of judgment or abuse.

Our mission is rooted in the belief that every woman deserves the opportunity to rise above the challenges of homelessness, addiction, and abuse. Genesis Eve House offers not just a roof over one's head, but a foundation for growth—emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

A Story of Strength and Resilience:

Genesis Eve House was founded by Vanessa Elias, a woman who has personally overcome the hardships of homelessness, addiction, and abuse. As a young mother, Vanessa faced the unimaginable: no family support, no resources, and no safe place to turn to. She was forced to move from state to state, seeking help in places that only offered further pain and exploitation.

In the darkest of times, Vanessa found strength through deep soul-searching and a reconnection with God. With her daughter Adrianna by her side, she slowly rebuilt her life. Along the way, she met Adam, her now-husband, and together they began to create the life that Vanessa had always dreamed of for herself and her daughter.

In 2017, Vanessa opened the first Genesis Eve House in South Phoenix, offering women a safe and empowering place to heal. Since then, she has expanded her vision, opening two additional homes in Phoenix and Glendale, Arizona, with a fourth home currently in the works.

Partnering for Change:

In 2021, Genesis Eve House applied for nonprofit status, solidifying its commitment to serving women in need. Through this, Vanessa has forged partnerships with respected organizations like St. Mary's Food Bank, Phoenix Rescue Mission, CASS, and UMOM. Working together, we are committed to reducing the homeless population and empowering women to break free from cycles of abuse and addiction.
